We are an urban homestead based on natural, holistic and sustainable principles. Our livestock includes chickens & honey bees and we cultivate fruits, vegetables and kitchen herbs.
In late December 2013 , I came across the artwork of Sarah Hudock on Facebook; she’s a painter. She paints images of chickens and they’re wonderfully playful. Although I had come up with a farmsy type logo for our Urban Homested, I knew there were other options out there for visually promoting us. After conversing by Facebook posts , Sarah and I came up with the plan for her to produce original art work for our families efforts.
Here are the two pieces of Art she produced for us – we love them !
